Today I had a follow-up ultrasound, glucose screening/blood draw and normal appointment with my ARNP/CNM. First up I went to drink the overly sweet flat orange drink. Not something I would choose to drink...but it is tolerable.
Next up I went to the ultrasound. Now, having just drank a bunch of super sugary stuff you can imagine what happened with the baby. He became very active...for quite a while. The technician doing the ultrasound was surprised that he could feel the baby kick/hitting at the transponder wand as he pushed it on my belly. He also had his feet up by his face and was grabbing at his ankle, then kicked himself in the head. The good news is he did cooperate and they got all the pictures they needed this time. Hopefully that will be the last ultrasound for us this time. As per my request, the technician made sure we got some good profile pictures.
I very much enjoy feeling the movements when pregnant and cherish each one of them. I'm 26 weeks now, so I still have a few months to go. However, I am looking forward to meeting his busy little guy that has been kicking me!

Love it! I guess all that sugar would make him go crazy wild huh? :)
Ahh, I love the movements of little ones! Can I live through you? Let me touch your pregnant belly and feel him kicking?
