Learning New Things

Nicholas has been busy this winter learning some new things. First of all, he is learning what the Christmas tree is, and how to treat it. It is hard to learn that we don't hit the tree and take the ornaments off.
Next, he has learned to drink the milk out of his cereal bowl when he is finished. Of course he learned this from watching Mom and Dad. Ben often calls him a "Monkey Do." This came from me saying "Monkey see, monkey do" one time. So, here is a picture of our little Monkey Do:

Nicholas has also been working on his computer skills. His favorite website is http://www.kneebouncers.com/. He will play the many games there for quite a long time. We thank Grammie for finally finding a good baby/toddler website! Another thing Nicholas is learning about is snow. We didn't get the big snow that Spokane got, but we did end up getting about 5 inches on Saturday and Sunday. Nicholas decided to walk over to the neighbor's house. He took the long way (through the snow) and got stuck. This picture is Daddy saving him!

Finally, Nicholas is working on perfecting his climbing skills. He tries to climb most everything, including the couch. I took this video this morning while we were watching Daddy shovel the snow.

So, there you have a glimpse into the life of Nicholas. He is a very fun, yet busy, little boy!

The tree thing is really hard...the bottom 1/3 of our tree is no longer decorated, but the top is very heavy indeed! Maybe next year...wait then it will be Skyler's turn! Oh well! :) I'll have to try that website too...Caleb has gotten bored with the ones we look at!

That kid is pretty gutsy on that couch! Fun times though. :)
