Where to start?

I realize it has been way too long since my last post. Lots has happened in the last few weeks.

Ben has been busy harvesting. They are done with silage but still have some grain corn to combine. Hopefully the weather will hold out for another week or two so they can finish everything up. It is nice to have the corn put away by Thanksgiving.

Nicholas is no longer in pre-school. After a meeting with his teacher it was decided that it would be best for him to wait a year. They said he is very smart and knows everything he should, but is a bit busy and is having trouble with the group setting. So, next year we will try him in the 4 year old class and hope that it goes a little better. This was very hard for me at first, but I think it will all work out. He does miss going to school and asks about it every once in a while. We've been doing some art projects at home to work on some of those skills. We also have been learning the letter sounds with the Zoo Phonics names that he was learning at school. He also loves to play the letter games on the Starfall website.

Eli has rolled over a few times. He isn't real into it so doesn't do it often. He likes to be up where he can see things. He loves the saucer and seems to like the Bumbo chair ok, too. He is constantly drooling and chewing on his fist so it only a matter of time before he starts getting teeth.

My parents came a few weeks ago and we went to the corn field to pick some squirrel corn. I had a Pampered Chef party that weekend so my mom came to that and all the guys went to Ephrata for lunch and then found a pumpkin patch so Nicholas could pick a pumpkin. Apparently his favorite part was the straw maze.

Last weekend we went to Spokane. I had tickets for Beth Moore's Living Proof Live event. I've enjoyed doing her Bible Studies with my Women's group at church. Last year we followed Paul on his journey and this year we are working through Esther. The event was quick and focused on Ephesians 4. My friend Kamie and her sister joined me for this event. We also squeezed in pictures of the boys, Greenbluff for doughnuts and cider, cookie decorating and Trick-or-Treating. Not bad for one weekend!

So, I guess that should about catch me up. Sorry for the lack of pictures in this post. I'll try to get some on here soon! I just put a bunch on Facebook, let me know if you need a link to it if you aren't on there!
