Nicholas' Summer Job

Although he didn't have to apply for this job and there is no formal payment, it is something he does just about every day. I planted a bunch of flowers out front in our flower bed area. There were no sprinklers out there yet, so we made the habit of watering them everyday. Since the driplines for that area aren't installed, we continue to do this job most days.
I guess these might be considered his employer:
Of course there has to be some fun to every job. He loves to turn the sprinkler on and off and watch the water start and stop.
Not the most effective for watering, but at least he is enjoying his job!
After work, comes play. Usually the rule is that he has to have shoes on when we go outside. This day I thought we would just be watering the flowers so I grabbed the camera to take some pics and we headed out...barefoot. Then his tricycle was calling to him, so I had to snatch a few pics of that also.

He is getting more comfortable on the trike and I will soon have to enforce the "wear your helmet" rule. For now he is just enjoying being a kid!
