Nicholas' 3rd Birthday

Yes, I realize I am months behind on my Blog and I am making an attempt to get caught up. Lately things like, laundry, dishes, a newborn and potty training a 3 year old stubborn little boy have eaten up all of my time! Watch for more posts in the days to come...

We waited to celebrate Nicholas' Birthday until after Eli was born. I figured if I planned a party, Eli would decide to make his debut and all would be called off. Turned out Eli took his sweet time and I could have had the party sooner, but it all worked out. Here is Nicholas running around as he was very excited for his balloons!

At his request, he had a Red Barn cake. Grams and I decorated some animals to go with it. Turned out pretty cute, I think.

Here are a few pictures of Nicholas opening his presents. He got some very nice things and we thank everyone who helped him celebrate (as Thank You notes haven't been written yet...sorry!).

I think he had a good day and since he didn't know which day was his actual birthday it all worked out!
