Nicholas has become quite the little guy lately. He has said some funny things!
A few weeks ago we were at Dayna and Shane's house and pancakes were being cooked for breakfast. Somebody jokingly said Eli wants one. Nicholas mater of factly says, "Eli likes boobies." That one got a pretty good laugh from everyone.
Last night we were eating dinner and Nicholas said to me, "Mommy, you are mad?" My response was, "No, I'm not mad." To which he says "Mommy, you are upset?" My next line was, "Do you even know what upset means?" Anyway, I was feeling just fine, but I've noticed Nicholas asking about our moods quite a bit lately. Must mean he is learning about the feelings of others.
This morning at breakfast Ben had poured a bowl of Lucky Charms. He always picks out a few marshmallows and eats them before he pours the milk on. Well, this morning Nicholas caught this and says, "Use your spoon, please." Hmm...wonder where he has heard this before.
I know there are lots more, but that is all I can think of right now. I just love watching his vocabulary blossom like it has been.
