Pacific Science Center

After playing at the fountain we found a Subway and got some lunch. Then it was off to the Pacific Science Center. I think the kids had the most fun at the outdoor water exhibit. Nicholas figured this one out right away! You moved a lever and the water stream moved also.

This floating ball of Granite was a huge hit with all ages. The kids liked to feel it and turn and it even kept the attention of some of the adults for a while, too!

This hamster style water wheel was also a huge hit. The kids liked to climb inside and make it turn. Of course, they used a little help from Dad/Uncle Ben.

Once we got inside the science center this backhoe activity caught Ben's eye. That means he took Nicholas up there who also got into it. Shane and Thea came to take a turn also and everybody helped scoop and dump the marbles with the backhoe.

This museum had a place for toddlers to play and Nicholas found this water table. It seems he really loves to play in water (which I did know) and especially loves to dump, pour and fill things.
The kids also liked this butterfly room. Nicholas just couldn't help himself and despite many reminders he kept trying to touch the butterflies.

It was a fun visit, although I think he will get a lot more out of the trip in a few more years.
