Oregon Coast

On New Years Eve we (along with Ben's Parents and Sister's family) headed to the Oregon Coast. Ben's Great Aunt and Uncle graciously let us use their home in Netarts Bay to spend a few days together. Here are some pictures from our visit to the Tillamook factory.

Nicholas watching the people wrap the big blocks of cheese being sent to age.
While Danelle petted the cow and Thea looked at the cow, Nicholas got down to get a good look at what is under the cow.

We took two trips to the beach. Here are some pictures of the first day. It was cold, wet and windy which wasn't a lot of fun for all of us, but Nicholas and Danelle sure had a good time. I think Ben had a good time showing the kids how to run and get their boots wet!

Here is a picture of the second day at the beach. The rain was gone and the wind was much less, so the experience was much more fun than the day before! This wave was coming in a bit faster than Ben thought so he is picking Nicholas up to run!

We also went to a small volunteer fish hatchery, but at the moment I'm not seeing any pictures of that. If I find some I will post them.
Keep reading to read our Christmas post!
