Fruit and Fair

A couple of weekends ago I decided I wanted some fresh fruit so, Nicholas and I headed out to the farmers market. We got some peaches which were great! I will be going back for more! We then walked over to see if we could find Ben's cousin Jenn. She had come up to see a concert. Luckily we found her and got to see her for a bit. We were also lucky enough to find a ferret. He was visiting the park with his parents, too. And, of course, Nicholas just had to touch his nose.

After poking at the ferret for a while, Nicholas decided it was time to play on the toys. He really loves to "go whee!"
When we finished playing on the toys it was off to the fairgrounds to see what we could see. Nicholas found this bunny and, of course, asked to touch its nose.
Nicholas like the sheep but was not interested in petting one, or getting out of the stroller either. A noisy goat scared him enough that he wanted to be in the stroller the rest of the trip...not so bad for me!
Somewhere along the way Nicholas found a sucker, which kept him busy as we finished looking at the animals. Here are some BIG cows.
Nicholas had a great time at the fair and I'm really glad I took him. He loved seeing all of the animals. So much so that we had to do a second stroll through all of the buildings before we left! I'm sure next year he will be petting them all!

What's with touching the noses? Does he do that a lot? Caleb isn't so obsessed with the nose, as much as just petting the whole face! :)
