Pumpkin Carving

Yes, this is my 3rd post in 2 days. I think I may have set a record!

We decided that it was finally time to carve the pumpkins we grew. So, we called in the back-ups (Grammie and Papa Lou), rolled up our sleeves, and dug into the pumpkins. Nicholas and I dug into the "perfect" pumpkin.

Ben decided to try carving the big pumpkin that grew a little funny. In the picture you are looking at its best side.
Nicholas was good at taking the seeds from the bowl and putting them back into the pumpkin!

But, a few times he dug in with his hands to take out some of the gushy stuff! Finally, here we are with our Jack-O-Lanterns. Nicholas and I carved the one on the right and Ben's is the larger one on the left (yes, I am propping it up so it didn't roll over!).
Nicholas enjoyed his first pumpkin carving experience!
