Preschool Pumpkin Party

Yesterday was Nicholas' party at school. The kids got to wear their costumes for the first little bit, then they changed so they wouldn't get paint on them! Since I had my camera along, I thought I would show you what he does at school!

After washing his hands, this is usually his first activity. This time he used more than just red!

Nicholas loves to play in the house area. Where else can he play with the pans and not get in trouble (or at least tripped over!)? He likes to push the shopping carts around the room also.

The kids got to go outside to the pumpkin patch to pick out a pumpkin. Nicholas wanted nothing to do with this. You see, we passed the play toys on the way out and he wanted to go play instead of pick a pumpkin. Here is our little mouse in the patch.

Here are the kids in his class. Nicholas is the mouse on the far left. He pretty much sat there and stared at us with the blank face as all of the moms grabbed some pictures! We all got a good laugh as he was obviously a little overwhelmed.

Here he is painting the pumpkin that he got from the pumpkin patch. Notice the paint on the side of his face!

I've noticed he prefers to paint with a brush. Sometimes they have other things like cars, rollers, sponges etc. to paint with and Nicholas doesn't enjoy those activities.

Nicholas loves going to school and obviously he is kept very busy there!
