Nicholas

I thought I would post a few things for you to look at.

First, here is a video of a new skill Nicholas has learned.

Nicholas has begun to use a fork just like a big kid. He takes many attempts at stabbing, and when he finally gets a piece on the fork it goes right into his mouth. Sometimes he gets impatient and if he doesn't stab something quick enough he will just use his fingers, but we are making good progress!

Here is a picture of Nicholas' first art projects.

The painting is the one he did last week that I wrote to you about. The white apple is the one he painted with colored shaving cream last week. The other apple was one of today's projects. The kids were given the apple with contact paper over it to make it sticky. Then they got to decorate it with glitter (in a salt shaker), paper leaves and apples, and foil pumpkins and turkeys. Nicholas liked this activity...especially shaking the glitter on it! Nicholas painted again today. In fact he raced over there and did it first thing. He still appears to prefer red, but managed to keep the brush out of his mouth!

It sure is fun to see him learning new things all the time. Now, if only we could work on potty training...
