Friday night my parents came through Moses Lake and picked up Nicholas and I and took us to Seattle for the weekend.
Saturday we headed downtown to watch the Cougs play at Seahawk Stadium (I think it is really called Quest Field). It wasn't a very good game, but the weather was beautiful, so at least we enjoyed being outside for a few hours. Sunday morning we went to the mall to do a little shopping. Then it was back to Aunt Lori's house so Nicholas could have a nap. When he woke up we went over to the Tacoma waterfront and walked along the beach for a few miles. Nicholas had a good time being outside and seemed to enjoy himself. After a while of riding in the stroller, he likes to get out and help push it along!
After our walk we met Brent, Jen, Kayla, Hailee, and Jen's parents at the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. We had a nice dinner with wonderful dessert. What a treat!
Monday morning it was back to the mall to pick-up something my mom put on hold and then we headed to the outlet malls. I was thrilled with a bag of stuff from The Children's Place outlet paying no more than $2.99 per item. Those prices beat the things I just bought at Goodwill last week!
Then we headed back home. Nicholas was so excited to see Daddy and show off a few things he learned. He has perfected the static noise that comes out of the radio, he can now show you his Belly Button when prompted and is even better at playing peekaboo.
He also seemed to have caught a cold this weekend. So, after so much fun, now we get to stay home and try to get him better!
