The tractor is short so that it can easily move through the trees. Ben says there was one like it in the movie The Cider House Rules for those of you who have seen that. 
Anyway, he is very proud of it and kudos go out to Rachel for driving 30 minutes at 9:15 pm to put money down on it. It was a really good deal and Ben knew it would be gone if he waited until the next morning.
