Well, the sub day/field trip to the water park was a success. Kamie (the teacher I was subbing for) said that one of the kids told her on Friday that she missed me. I guess I'm not too bad at the subbing thing. Maybe there will be more in my future next year! Nicholas seemed to hold up just fine without me...which is good news!

Friday afternoon Nicholas took a nose dive off the patio into the rock bed/bush. Debbie and I were both standing by and watched the whole thing...but didn't manage to catch him. See our June album for the sad nose pictures!

We took a drive to Tri Cities today to pick up a sandbox that my parents are giving Nicholas for his birthday. The one I wanted wasn't availible in Spokane, so we took a road trip. We all enjoyed lunch at Red Robin and Ben was able to exchange some broken tools to Sears. Then it was home again.

When we got home the neighbor girl was so excited to see his new sandbox she ran right over! Then Ben, Nicholas and I went over to the next door neighbor's where some kids were playing. They wanted to know if Nicholas could come over and play. Nicholas enjoyed a nice long swing ride and we got to converse with our neighbor. That is one thing I will miss when we don't live in town anymore. The bad neighbors and loud noise won't be missed, however!
