Happy Easter!

I decided earlier this week that Nicholas needed an Easter project to work on. So, I had him cut out a basket. Then he cut some strips of green paper, which I then had him cut into squares. We glued this "grass" onto the basket. I guess I didn't get any pictures of the painting, but we also painted some paper eggs which we glued on the basket. I should have got a final picture....oops!

Eli in his Hoppy Easter outfit.We have all been sick all week, but Eli woke up worse this morning. After learning the walk-in clinic was closed today, we were trying to make it until tomorrow. I realized that he really was not doing well (couldn't stay awake for more than 1 hour and just wanted to snuggle...plus his cough was way worse) so I called Urgent Care and they were open! After a chest X-Ray we found he was in the beginning stages of pneumonia. So, he got a shot and will take antibiotics for the next 5 days. Poor little guy is so sad.

This morning we finally had Daddy home to dye Easter eggs with us. Nicholas really enjoyed this...and only broke a handful of eggs. By the end, he was getting much better at being gentle with the eggs. Maybe next year he won't break any!
