Christmas~My family

We went to Spokane to celebrate Christmas Eve and Christmas morning with my family. We had the traditional crab feed Christmas Eve and then went to the Candle Light service at Church.

Christmas morning, Nicholas found what Santa brought. Here is is digging into his stocking.
Of course, Santa brought one for Eli, too.

Eli got a toy from Santa, also:

If you remember a few posts back Nicholas visited Santa and asked him for trains, track and a depot. Santa remembered and did well. Nicholas was thrilled with his new Roundhouse, turn table and track set. Here he is tearing into them.

Here is Eli opening his present from my parents.

And probably my most favorite picture from Christmas.
The lighting is terrible, but the face on that little boy reminds me why we go to the trouble of picking out gifts for them. He was so taken with the moving ladder on the fire truck...pure happiness.
