Yesterday I was officially 20 weeks, which means 1/2 way through this pregnancy. I've been blessed with another pregnancy free from sickness and am ever thankful that God left me out of that one!
This baby has been very active and I'm feeling it move a lot. The movements get stronger all of the time and before long Ben and Nicholas will get to experience this also. Speaking of Nicholas, he is mostly oblivious that this is all happening. He does know there is a baby in Mommy's belly and likes to kiss my button (because that is where the baby is, of course!). He also includes our "new baby" in his prayers every night...which is probably more habit than anything, but I still find it sweet.
Along with being 1/2 way through a pregnancy comes the "big ultrasound" where they check everything with the baby, and of course we get to learn what we are having. Here is a picture of me this morning. I realized today that with Nicholas I took monthly pictures of the belly, but this time I don't even have one yet. I seem much bigger this time, but I think it is more different shaped than bigger.
Ok, I've probably stretched this post out as long as I can without telling the news. Nicholas will be welcoming a little brother in June. Now the hard work of choosing a name for this little guy begins!

Two boys! Very excited that Nicholas is going to have a little brother because he already is such a good big brother.
Yay! Sorry we took your other name... when you posted that poll, someone (I think mom) told me Ruston never was really in the running, so I thought it would be ok to steal! Hmm... names... I'll think of some. ;)
I think the "other name" was Luke at one time. That one is also taken ...
Clearly to follow the naming schema so far, it will be something along the lines of Augustine, Paul, Patrick, Peter, Ambrose, Ignatius, or Valentine.
Or you could go with a family name like Throckmorten.
Shane couldn't name his Throckmorten because they are girls, right Shane?
"Mort for short."
It's Nicolas, not Nicodemus... so I am not seeing the schema Shane speaks of either.
NICHOLAS.
Sorry I miskeyed that in the other note. I do know how to spell it!
Shane is thinking Saint names. I'll give him credit for the clever part, but I don't think any of them are making the list!
