Computer Time, Cold Mornings and Pumpkin Harvest

Nicholas has really taken a liking to the computer lately. He runs into the computer room and bangs on the keyboard or plays with the mouse. He has even altered the settings on the keyboard and mouse before (he did this while I was gone...Ben was supposed to be watching him!). It took me a while to figure out what he did and how to fix it! So, I looked on-line and found a website for toddlers and we sat down and did it together:

It is hard to believe at 15 months he knows what the mouse is for and how to use it!
This morning we went out for our morning walk, but it was really cold. So, I bundled Nicholas up, stoking cap and all, and we went for our walk. Here is is pushing the stroller when we got home. This is what he always does!
Since it has gotten so much colder the pumpkin plants were looking a little droopy. I did some looking on-line about harvesting pumpkins and found that it was probably time to do it. So, here is a picture of our best pumpkin. It is the perfect shape all around, with no major spots on it! I picked this while Nicholas was napping, but I will get some pictures of him with it so you can see that it is a good sized pumpkin!

That is a very pretty pumpkin! :)
It's still warm here all the time... I like it.

Have fun with the computer fascination. It doesn't get any better I'm afraid. Caleb will purposely go sit at the computer and do everything you can imagine if I leave the room for a second. And then when I come out, he just smiles at me and keeps pounding away!
