Harvest Festivities

October is a month that is full of harvest festivities.  We had Nicholas' class trip to the pumpkin patch.  Here he is standing right next to the pumpkin he picked out.
We also had a harvest party for Nicholas' preschool and a end of the season/harvest party to finish out the Upward soccer season.

I had to make sugar cookies for the Upward party and I just had to make extras.  When the cousins were here we got together to decorate them.  This is how Nicholas' turned out.
Eli thought they were pretty tasty!
Nicholas also had a field trip to a nursing home here in town.  They got to wear their costumes and sing songs to the elderly people.
This appears to be one of the only pictures of Eli in his costume.   Such a cute little peanut...M&M!
Since we don't really have neighbors we drove to a nearby neighborhood to trick-or-treat.  Here are Nicholas and Daddy heading up to one of the houses.
What a Happy Halloween/Harvest season we had!  Lots of fun festivities sure kept us busy.
