It is pretty rare for us to get snow before Thanksgiving. These pictures were taken on 11/16/11. The kids (well, mostly Nicholas) were excited for the snow and couldn't wait to play in it. So I bundled them up and out we went.
First on the list was to see how it tasted.
Lizzie tried to join him in eating the snow...but somehow she became the target of a snowball fight. She didn't seem to care too much.
Eli liked going down the snowy slide. Ok...it is snowy because I hadn't put it away yet. It was only November 16th...it wasn't supposed to snow yet!!
But, even the snow couldn't keep him away from the dog food dish. That bowl has some kind of magnetic power in it that draws Eli to it every time.
And of course Nicholas worked with all of the snow on the table until he had a nice little mountain. He was pretty proud of it.
Besides the fact that daddy wasn't here to play in the snow with us (Nicholas was a little bummed) it was a fun time and they are looking forward to more snow to play in in the future!
