How Does Your Garden Grow?

I planted/grew my first garden in 2008. This is only my 2nd garden and it is much bigger than my 1st. I'm already thinking of things to add next year....and ways to improve what I am doing, also!

The row of lettuce in this picture is quite obvious. I had wonderful Romaine lettuce this year and shared much of it with others. Behind the lettuce are 3 rows of carrots. They have also done pretty well! Right in front of the lettuce are a row of onions I think I have 2 good ones...but not much more. You'll have to look really close if you want to see them! In front of those are the cucumbers I have been working so hard to get rid of! They have produced wonderful cucumbers which we will miss during the winter!

Here we have the pumpkins, acorn squash, yellow squash and zucchini in the front part of the picture. Right behind them are the watermelon and cantaloupe.

Nicholas enjoys helping me water the garden and check the vegetables. He is constantly talking about planting more seeds, so I think he will be eager to help me with this in the Spring!
